Natalie's a teenager!

Natalie turned 13! It was a fun birthday for her. The Saturday after Thanksgiving we met up with her 3 friends Mulan, Izzy, and Maha (along with Mulan's little sister and parents) at iFly for indoor skydiving. None of them had been before and they all seemed to have a lot of fun.
Natalie's flight:
We got some Jamba Juice after and then they hung out at our house for a bit.
On her actual birthday, we did our annual tradition of getting our Christmas tree set up. She got some great gifts:
Lizzie got her this fun game which we played that night:
Natalie even found an error on one of the trivia questions. :) She's a superfan.
We made an ice cream cake for her birthday. I helped with the Dobby and she did the rest:
Natalie wanted chocolate waffles for her breakfast and then we tried a new recipe for street tacos for dinner. It was tasty!
Natalie had a great year. After not growing much, she finally had a bit of a growth spurt and is only a couple inches shorter than me. She's probably still got some more growing to do, too. She's doing great in school, as always. Her hardest class is advanced math, just like Lizzie last year, but she works hard and is up for the challenge. She still loves wood working and is in Woods 2 this year for her elective. She loves hanging with her friends, or curling up with a good book and some snacks. She is an excellent cook and is always learning how to make new things and perfecting other dishes. She loves music and recently went way out of her comfort zone to perform in her school's open mic time at lunch. She still loves music and can pick out really hard songs just by ear on the piano. She loves musical theater, especially Les Mis and Hamilton. She is funny and kind and we love her so much.
