Eve had a fun birthday. She wanted cinnamon rolls for breakfast so I got up early to make them before Joe left at 6:45. She was so excited and kept saying "thanks!" for everything in this cute way she does that sounds like "sanks". It was during spring break so some of the kid went back to bed after that and Eve and I had fun hanging out in the hot tub. We also had a bit of a Toy Story marathon during the week and watched the 2nd and 3rd ones. We met at Chick fil-a for dinner together (her favorite place) and then went home and opened presents and had cake and ice cream:
She loved her presents:
We sure love our Eve. It was a big year for her and she learned lots of new things. Her attention span is getting longer and longer--she can watch shows now and read longer books and she loves to do both. She loves Bluey and even says things like "tidied up". She loves her bear-bear stuffed animals and loved getting the squishmallow from Eli for her birthday. She is still so cuddly and gives the best hugs. She also loves playing outside whenever she can. She loves baths and swimming and floating in water. She loves picnics out under our big tree. She still loves George so much and also loves to bug hum :). She loves yogurt, fries, eggs, and isn't too picky. She'll eat most things we eat. She still loves her family--aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents--and loves spending time with them. She loves us too and we love her and how much joy and light she brings into our family. We can't imagine life without her!
