August

We started the month of August with a fun visit from the Meservys. It had been awhile since we'd been able to get together but it was so easy and fun still. I especially loved watching Eve and their two youngest (Elise and Bennett) playing in the dirt.

We got a hot tub! It helps when you own a business that sells hot tubs. Definitely a perk :). Eve loves it! And I love seeing her curls when her hair is wet.

We had a fun time one day going to Thousand Springs with Atkin family. Erica's biological son came to visit and meet family all the way from Australia and he was so nice. We all enjoyed meeting him and chatting. Even Eve warmed up to him:

Speaking of Joe, he got to have a fun guys weekend with his dad and his brothers playing a lot of golf and staying at our house while the kids and I stayed at Marsha's. He had a blast:

I sure love all those great men. 
It was a bit tough for me sleeping in the same room as Eve but Marsha was great to us and we had fun watching Rawhide and old shows with her. We also, unfortunately, got a flat tire and had to get a rental car while we waited for new tires to be available because of our sensitive all-wheel drive system.
