June

Still trying to catch up on the blog... In June the kids wrapped up their distance learning from Fremont. We made a trip back so the boys could pick up their yearbooks and the girls could turn in books.
They loved hanging out with Brenden for a little bit and were sad to leave:
On the official last day of school we kept our tradition of going to get ice cream. Had to show the weirdness of the year with a mask picture:
Now, of course, some more Eve pictures:
Had to model her cute new bathing suit:
These boys love their sister:
Her sisters sure love her, too:
After feeling cooped up at home for so long, we were desperate for an outing. We hit two of my favorite places--Gizdich Ranch and Rio Del Mar beach. It was a long tiring day but just what we all needed.
Me, nursing a baby in the middle of a row of berries:
You do what you've got to do.
We got tons of delicious olallieberries that we froze and ate for a long time (and the best pie ever, of course).
We met Lisa and Lily at the beach and it was so fun to see them. Eve loved the beach!
She just fell asleep like that in the tent!
The kids caught a fish in the little river that runs behind the beach:
Natalie loving on Jack:

Tom and Lorna came to visit us over Father's Day. It was hot and their poor dogs were dying. We sure loved having them, though, and we went on an adventure one day to Yosemite to get out of the heat. We had some carsickness problems driving into the park but all felt much better getting out of the car to see the amazing view of the valley:
It was our first time in Yosemite since Joe and I went on a little graduation trip when I was pregnant with Natalie. We didn't really know what we were doing and struggled a bit to figure out the best place to go but still had a lot of fun. We found a little spot by a river to play and the kids (and the dogs) all had a blast getting wet even though we didn't bring bathing suits.
We also were excited when Emma and Jameson came down from Chico to visit as well. We made some berry pies for the men for Father's Day and just had fun hanging out together.
Joe and I met for a lunch date one day and actually got to eat in a restaurant! We were pretty excited so we took some pictures:
Eve got chubbier and chubbier:
And sometimes she falls asleep in cute positions:
Holding her head up like a big girl!
