May

May was a busy month for us since we moved on May 8th. The first week was full of packing non-stop. Most of that was done by Joe but I did some while Eve napped and the kids helped, too. Moving was, as always, hectic and exhausting. We did have movers help load everything in the truck so that helped. Unfortunately it was one of the hottest days in Fremont so far. We still had a lot to do but I really needed to get on the road so Eve could sleep in the car so I left with the younger three kids in the van while Joe stayed behind with Elizabeth to finish up. They ended up hours behind us because there were so many last minute things to pack. We all jumped in the pool when we got to Clovis since we were so hot and exhausted. It felt amazing! A super kind person in our ward who knew Chris and Lisa brought us pizza for dinner and we spent our first night in our new home.
Eve, hidden among all the stuff:
Then, the unpacking started. I lined all the shelves in the kitchen. We slowly but surely started getting things set up. We took a break one day to take Eve in the pool for her first time:
It was too cold for her and she wasn't a fan. So cute snuggled up after, though:
Here come lots more Eve pictures:
The kids favorite onesie:

Has the water got warmer, Eve grew to really love the pool. I had fun putting her in the same bathing suit that Elizabeth and Natalie had worn as babies.

She also loves the bath:
I love dressing her up for photo shoots:
Eli really wanted to change her diaper by himself. He only needed a little bit of help. :)
The boys discovered a fun way to shoot baskets on their little hoop:
I loved enjoying these beautiful flowers in our neighbor's yard:
The kids had fun with chalk:
Eli had an assignment to do something fun with Flat Ms. Dorsey and so they went swimming:
It was a great month!
