Baseball Cut Short

We had a great start to the baseball season this year. Unfortunately, it ended early. Nate was so happy to hear that he was on the same team as his good friends Carlo and Cameron. He was one of the older more experienced ones in the league this year so he got to pitch and play first base a lot.

Here are some pictures from opening day which was cold and rainy this year:

Eli was nervous about playing Minor B this year after just being in t-ball so many years but he did a great job adjusting.
Giving elbows at opening day:
He was on the same team as a friend from preschool (Owen).
He got to be catcher one game:
And play first base:
He got some great hits in his fist couple games and made some plays.
Here are some screenshots of Nate pitching a strike in the first one and in the second one getting a great hit.
I was scorekeeping one of his games when he hit his very first in the park home run! I yelled a little bit even though you're not supposed to. I couldn't help it! :)
We loved our time with NCLL and will miss all the great families we got to know playing baseball there.
