Of course we had to take some pictures when I finally came downstairs with Eve:
I had the best birthday that I want to remember. It was just so nice to be all together again. The kids and Joe made me breakfast in bed. That night we got food from my favorite take-out place--Gater's--and Joe got some Dr. Pepper (how I missed it!) and we ate outside on the folding table:
It was a beautiful evening and I loved being together outside with Eve.
I especially loved seeing Joe holding Eve. I wish I would have gotten better pictures! We captured some early smiles:
He soaked up his time with her sleeping on his chest:
Everyone fought over having turns with her sleeping on them. It's the best.
